Angling for Answers


A Springfield resident shares his unique perspective on the transformation of Lewis and Clark Lake from a wide body of water to a maze of channels. The Missouri River has been a scenic fixture in Ron Livingston’s life whether it was the view from the seat of a grader or a fishing boat. It’s a picturesque setting which has provided inspiration for his original art work.
“In the ’70’s when you were here, you go down to the marina you could look all the way across and it was water. That’s how far that has silted in already. There were people water skiing and everything. I wouldn’t even want to think about that out here now,” he said.
